The Golf Event Managers Association depends on the input of their Sponsor and Planner members to be successful.  We have achieved some excellent steps, and we appreciate our members growing with us.  Here are a few notes from GEMA members

Sometimes it is possible to go along and not know if you are making a difference.  I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that is not the case relative the working relationship we have developed over the past several weeks.  As you know, we are in the 4th year of our Ohio Masonic Home-Jim Perry Golf Classic.  We made the decision that this year we need to move our event to the next level but have been uncertain as to the best way to do that. 

The one-on-one phone consultations have been even more important.  They have gotten us to start looking at our event in a completely different light.  We are now looking as to how we can promote our event year round, assure we get sponsors to sign up for multi year commitments, and increase the number of playing golfers.  We are now really looking at our costs in an entirely new way.  We have found we were offering benefits to some of our sponsors that exceeded what we were asking for sponsorship fees.
